David Fincher Would Be “Suspicious” if He Were Jennifer Garner during ‘Gone Girl’ Shooting

David Fincher, the director of the 2014’s hit movie titled ‘Gone Girl’, admitted that if he were Ben Affleck’s wife (Jennifer Garner), he would undoubtedly be ‘suspicious’ of the spouse – based on Ben’s on-set talents.

‘Gone Girl’ sees Affleck, 42, to act as a cheating husband, who turns into #1 suspect when his wife goes missing.

The director explains that Ben had an unnatural ability to make fake phone conversations in order to keep Rosamund Pike (his on-screen spouse) in the dark of his philandering ways.

Fincher said that that was something that Affleck was extremely good at, when it came to cooking a phone conversation as well as hearing someone answering him. Then he continued that it was kinda astonishing …if he had been Affleck’s wife, he thought he would have been very suspicious, constantly, of whoever called as he had a gift at insinuating a conversation.

On June 30th Affleck and Garner announced about their decision to split up after 10 years of marriage, amid countless reports about the ‘Argo’ actor’s lies over the years.

The star couple shares three kids – Violet, Seraphina and Samuel.

According to David Fincher Ben was very natural for ‘Gone Girl’, especially when the actor had to do those things in the foreground: taking out his phone to look at it as well as putting it away so his on-screen sister didn’t see it.

Momentarily, both Garner and Affleck have been seen still wearing their wedding bends, though an insider claimed that the split has been very hard for the two.
